Today I wrote the last page of the 151 pages long novel I wrote and which is inspired by my experience as a trans person in Sweden. To celebrate, I had a slice of pie at Fröken Olssons Kafé, one of Gothenburg’s cosiest cafés. I’m going to work the coming week on proofreading and editing.Fortsätt läsa ”Book done!”

Celebration Time
Rainbow flags all over the city. Here at the Nordstan shopping mall. The local Pride festival is happening next week and it’s the first non-socially distanced one since the pandemic. So looking forward to it! In other news, I just finished the first chapter of the second novel of the series I’m writing. I’m aimingFortsätt läsa ”Celebration Time”
It is done!
Yesterday, I wrote the last words to the novel I’ve been writing. Finishing the last chapter took a bit more time than I expected but it also ended up being longer than I originally planned. I’ve got some editing and additional proofreading to do before it is ready to be sent to publishers and literaryFortsätt läsa ”It is done!”
So close!
I have only one chapter left before I’ve finished writing the crime novel I’ve been working on for over a year and a half. The book will be twenty chapters and about 250 A4 pages long. I was aiming for 300 pages but I don’t think I can stretch the plot any more without fillingFortsätt läsa ”So close!”
Reflecting on 1 year of Son of Freya
On the 25th of this month, it will have been a year since I started this blog. This has spurred me to take a moment and reflect on what has happened since then in regards to my spiritual journey and my writing. When it comes to my spiritual life, I can see that two mainFortsätt läsa ”Reflecting on 1 year of Son of Freya”
Inspiration…

Back then, I was a very different person and the thing that changed me happened while I was writing the book. The message IFortsätt läsa ”Inspiration…”
Late night doodling
I’ve never been good at drawing but I often feel compelled to draw characters and scenes from the things I’m writing. Most of the time, these doodles don’t make sense to anyone but me. I keep them really for myself, as a sort of writing diary/idea catalogue. Often, I’ve grown strangely attached to many ofFortsätt läsa ”Late night doodling”
Here is the word dragon
I’d been thinking about buying a new laptop for probably a year and a half. The one I had kept getting slower and slower but I put up with it because I’m the type of person who only buys new stuff when I really need it. But in the last months, my old laptop wasFortsätt läsa ”Here is the word dragon”
An equation for happiness
The other day I saw a man wearing a shirt that said, in Swedish: Inga förhoppningar, inga besvikelser. Which translates to ‘No hopes, no disappointments’. I laughed to myself when I read it because, as Homer Simpson so eloquently puts it, ‘it’s funny ‘cause it’s true’. People have often called me a pessimist but it’sFortsätt läsa ”An equation for happiness”
A little bit of writing
I didn’t do much writing today but it was enough to finish chapter 13. I had some ice cream to celebrate: My goal is to finish chapter 14 before the end of the month. I might have a minor surgery sometimes soon so I’m setting the bar low since I don’t know how I’ll beFortsätt läsa ”A little bit of writing”
