Book fair haul!

My favourite yearly event has finally arrived: the Gothenburg Book Fair! This is the largest literary event in Scandinavia and the second largest book fair in Europe. I never miss it (in non-pandemic times) and this year was no exception. To await buying more books than I can afford, I have imposed on myself theFortsätt läsa ”Book fair haul!”

Spring is here

I’m well enough to take shorter walks around town and with the weather being as sunny and beautiful as it was today, I just had to take the tram to one of my favourite spots on the city: The Garden Society of Gothenburg. Gothenburg is imo one of the most beautiful cities in Sweden. IFortsätt läsa ”Spring is here”

Important to know if you want to help the Ukrainian people

People all over the world have come together to help the people of Ukraine after the Russian invasion. And while that’s heartwarming, donations of too much supplies have created a logistical nightmare for the organisations helping the refugees. Not much happening today. Just taking short walks in the city, buying the last souvenirs to gift family and getting some rest in preparation for the journey home tomorrow. I really loved being here but I’m also looking forward to returning to my own city and my own bed. As a last post on thisFortsätt läsa ”My top 5 favourite things about Prague”

Visiting the Kafka Museum and two famous squares

The first destination of the day was the Kafka Museum. I’d wanted to visit this place for years and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m a big Kafka nerd so I didn’t learn much new but it felt very special to see the handwritten letters and journal entries of one of my literary idols. The letter heFortsätt läsa ”Visiting the Kafka Museum and two famous squares”

Lunch at Madame Lyn

Not much happening today. My tachycardia is acting up so we’ve mostly been staying at the hotel. We did go on a short trip to the Palladium shopping mall and had lunch at a popular Vietnamese restaurant called Madame Lyn. The food was amazing and the virgin Mojito I had was the best I’ve everFortsätt läsa ”Lunch at Madame Lyn”
