Why do nazis love wearing Thor’s hammer?

It recently came out that yet another politician from the far-right Sweden Democrats has ties to a neo-nazi group. This time it was Rebecca Ädel, an elected official from Nynäshamn, who was revealed to have been active in the Nordic Resistance Movement. Not only that, but she was a columnist on their website. The duty to remember

Recent surveys about how first time voters voted in the elections show something alarming: more than half of them chose far-right or far-right adjacent parties. Contrary to the stereotypes, it seems the new generation is a lot more conservative and close-minded than older generations. I’ve been asking myself: how come? To be queer is to have no country

Election day is approaching and I have a terrible feeling. The far-right has become so normalised. They even have their ads on the trams and busses of the city. I can’t go anywhere without seeing the slogans and faces of politicians who want to take my rights away. And everywhere I overhear people having bigotedFortsätt läsa ”To be queer is to have no country”

Why is YouTube helping the spread of fascist propaganda in Sweden?

For a while now, I and many others in Sweden have been spammed with content from a new alt-right channel every time we get on YouTube. I’ve clicked ‘hide this ad’ every single time and checked in that I don’t want to see this channel in my suggestions anymore. To no avail. Time and timeFortsätt läsa ”Why is YouTube helping the spread of fascist propaganda in Sweden?”
