A monastery in rural France

I am currently in France to visit family and today we were in one of the most beautiful parts of the country: Auvergne. We were there to visit my dear grandfather’s grave and on the way back, we stopped by a well-known monastery in the region: the Notre-Dame-de-l’Hermitage nunnery and sanctuary. A new writing spot

The Swedish summer is painfully short and rainier that in a lot of other places. So, every chance I get to enjoy the sunshine while it last, I take. That’s why I love to sit in the forest, by the sea or in public parks and write under the sun. I thought I knew allFortsätt läsa ”A new writing spot”

Spring is here

I’m well enough to take shorter walks around town and with the weather being as sunny and beautiful as it was today, I just had to take the tram to one of my favourite spots on the city: The Garden Society of Gothenburg. The snowy city is full of life

It has been snowing like crazy in the last couple days and I love it. I might be a bit irritated over the public transportation never running on time if I had to work. But as I mentioned in a previous post, I’m not currently working. I’ve taken the opportunity to go on long walksFortsätt läsa ”The snowy city is full of life”

A Song for Sunna

I went and had another walk by the sea today. The sun was already low when I came to the shore at around 2 p.m. and soon I found myself whispering an improvised tune to Sunna. Later, I wrote the words down and added a few extra verses. The poem is in Swedish, which isFortsätt läsa ”A Song for Sunna”

I walked by the sea

Today, I went to the shore of the sea to return some things I’d borrowed to decorate my altar. I’m in the process of rearranging it and didn’t need them anymore so I figure I’d give them back and take the opportunity to blot to Njord and Freya Mardöll. I prayed for help and forFortsätt läsa ”I walked by the sea”
