Rainbow flags all over the city. Here at the Nordstan shopping mall. The local Pride festival is happening next week and it’s the first non-socially distanced one since the pandemic. So looking forward to it! In other news, I just finished the first chapter of the second novel of the series I’m writing. I’m aimingFortsätt läsa ”Celebration Time”

It is done!
Yesterday, I wrote the last words to the novel I’ve been writing. Finishing the last chapter took a bit more time than I expected but it also ended up being longer than I originally planned. I’ve got some editing and additional proofreading to do before it is ready to be sent to publishers and literaryFortsätt läsa ”It is done!”
So close!
I have only one chapter left before I’ve finished writing the crime novel I’ve been working on for over a year and a half. The book will be twenty chapters and about 250 A4 pages long. I was aiming for 300 pages but I don’t think I can stretch the plot any more without fillingFortsätt läsa ”So close!”
Last Words of the Sage – updated version
Recently, I mentioned I was going to do some editing on my published novella and now I have. Most of the changes are rephrasings, nothing major, and the plot is still the same. I really wanted to make clearer both the Oneness and Plurality of the Divine in the message, which I realised focused farFortsätt läsa ”Last Words of the Sage – updated version”
Reflecting on 1 year of Son of Freya
On the 25th of this month, it will have been a year since I started this blog. This has spurred me to take a moment and reflect on what has happened since then in regards to my spiritual journey and my writing. When it comes to my spiritual life, I can see that two mainFortsätt läsa ”Reflecting on 1 year of Son of Freya”
Inspiration…
… works in mysterious ways. It all started in the beginning of last week when I took my daily post-work nap and dreamt of a book project I’d abandoned years ago. Back then, I was a very different person and the thing that changed me happened while I was writing the book. The message IFortsätt läsa ”Inspiration…”
A little bit of writing
I didn’t do much writing today but it was enough to finish chapter 13. I had some ice cream to celebrate: My goal is to finish chapter 14 before the end of the month. I might have a minor surgery sometimes soon so I’m setting the bar low since I don’t know how I’ll beFortsätt läsa ”A little bit of writing”
A Sol’s Day in the Sun
The summer in Sweden is painfully short so it bums me out that I will have to spend most of it at work. I like my job but I prefer being out in the sun. So, I’m making sure to spend so much time as I can in nature on Sundays since it’s the onlyFortsätt läsa ”A Sol’s Day in the Sun”
Almost
I had set the goal of finishing the second-last chapter of the novella over the weekend and I almost did. Just a few paragraphs stand in the way. Problem is I can’t make up my mind on how to finish the chapter. I tried getting it done today but was all out of inspiration. CompleteFortsätt läsa ”Almost”
Some week-end reading
Finished this novel today. It’s pretty good. Not particularly scary and not one of King’s best works. But to be fair, I read The Outsider right before reading this one so my expectations may have been too high since that was probably the best book Stephen King has released in the last decade. I’d give TheFortsätt läsa ”Some week-end reading”
