Today I wrote the last page of the 151 pages long novel I wrote and which is inspired by my experience as a trans person in Sweden. To celebrate, I had a slice of pie at Fröken Olssons Kafé, one of Gothenburg’s cosiest cafés. I’m going to work the coming week on proofreading and editing.Fortsätt läsa ”Book done!”

Celebrating 6 years on testosterone
A couple days ago, I celebrated six years since the beginning of my physical transition. A lot of things have changed since 2016. Not only in terms of how my body has ever increasingly felt more like my own, but also in how the world is treating trans people. Cis society has long looked downFortsätt läsa ”Celebrating 6 years on testosterone”
This week, the city feels like ours too (almost)
The city feels more colourful and brighter and gayer than usual. There are LGBTQ+ workshops, lectures, plays and fun family activities happening everywhere in town. It feels like Gothenburg belongs to us queers too this week. But I also see people scoff and complain about the rainbow flags. And I and many people like meFortsätt läsa ”This week, the city feels like ours too (almost)”
Celebration Time
Rainbow flags all over the city. Here at the Nordstan shopping mall. The local Pride festival is happening next week and it’s the first non-socially distanced one since the pandemic. So looking forward to it! In other news, I just finished the first chapter of the second novel of the series I’m writing. I’m aimingFortsätt läsa ”Celebration Time”

I was aiming for 300 pages but I don’t think I can stretch the plot any more without fillingFortsätt läsa ”So close!”
A great book about an important subject
If you ask a Swedish person to name a gay writer, the first name that will almost always pop up in their mind is ‘Jonas Gardell’. This famous author published Passionspelen, a gay love novel, in 1985 and has since written many highly popular books and screenplays, becoming a household name. He is also aFortsätt läsa ”A great book about an important subject”

Reflecting on 1 year of Son of Freya
On the 25th of this month, it will have been a year since I started this blog. This has spurred me to take a moment and reflect on what has happened since then in regards to my spiritual journey and my writing. When it comes to my spiritual life, I can see that two mainFortsätt läsa ”Reflecting on 1 year of Son of Freya”
A little bit of writing
I didn’t do much writing today but it was enough to finish chapter 13. I had some ice cream to celebrate: My goal is to finish chapter 14 before the end of the month. I might have a minor surgery sometimes soon so I’m setting the bar low since I don’t know how I’ll beFortsätt läsa ”A little bit of writing”
