Yesterday I bought a soap with scent of the seaIt’s got real pieces of kelp in it and it feels like such luxury. I went and had another walk by the sea today. The sun was already low when I came to the shore at around 2 p.m. and soon I found myself whispering an improvised tune to Sunna. Later, I wrote the words down and added a few extra verses. The poem is in Swedish, which isFortsätt läsa ”A Song for Sunna”
Today, I went to the shore of the sea to return some things I’d borrowed to decorate my altar. I’m in the process of rearranging it and didn’t need them anymore so I figure I’d give them back and take the opportunity to blot to Njord and Freya Mardöll. Today I went and sat by the sea to write for a bit. Then I took a walk on the beach in search of things to put on that altar I’m still working on. I ended up tumbling upon some interesting things.

There wasn’t a Eco-Friday post yesterday and there might not be for a while. I got a new internship at a café this week and it’s pretty hectic Monday through Friday. Today is the day we celebrate the Ocean and everything She gives us. All over the world, cultures have honoured the Divinity of the sea and given Her many names. In the Norse tradition, several Deities are associated with the sea. Freya is one of them as one of Her names is Mardöll, believed toFortsätt läsa ”Today is Mother Ocean Day”
