Today I wrote the last page of the 151 pages long novel I wrote and which is inspired by my experience as a trans person in Sweden. To celebrate, I had a slice of pie at Fröken Olssons Kafé, one of Gothenburg’s cosiest cafés. I’m going to work the coming week on proofreading and editing.Fortsätt läsa ”Book done!”

A day of shame for Sweden
A few days ago, I wrote a post about a twelve-year-old girl Swedish authorities had decided to deport to Pakistan despite the fact she was born and had lived her entire life here. Today, the order was carried out and Duaa and her mother were deported. Despite protests and a petition that gathered over 30.000Fortsätt läsa ”A day of shame for Sweden”
It is done!
Yesterday, I wrote the last words to the novel I’ve been writing. Finishing the last chapter took a bit more time than I expected but it also ended up being longer than I originally planned. I’ve got some editing and additional proofreading to do before it is ready to be sent to publishers and literaryFortsätt läsa ”It is done!”
Life and health
About a month ago, I wrote about my goal of getting healthier after the surgeon who performed my gallbladder surgery warned me that I had a dangerous amount of abdominal fat. Many times in the past, I’d tried to lose weight. I’d do the counting calories thing and even fasted. I’d lose a little bitFortsätt läsa ”Life and health”

The first is that I apparently wasn’t being laid off at all. A miscommunication between my bosses and supervisor led to me being told I was going toFortsätt läsa ”A life update”
Last Words of the Sage – updated version
Recently, I mentioned I was going to do some editing on my published novella and now I have. Most of the changes are rephrasings, nothing major, and the plot is still the same. I really wanted to make clearer both the Oneness and Plurality of the Divine in the message, which I realised focused farFortsätt läsa ”Last Words of the Sage – updated version”
A goal reached and a project coming
So, there are two weeks left in this beautiful, spooky month of October. I look back at it and to be honest, I haven’t been as productive as I had hoped. But I did finish another chapter on my novel yesterday. I celebrated the way I usually do: with some ice cream. I hope toFortsätt läsa ”A goal reached and a project coming”
