American conservatives have long been leading in climate change denial but a small group of Republicans have now formed a group to tackle the climate crisis. Could this be a step in the right direction? Well, maybe not. The group, headed by Utah representative John Curtis, is against ”radical progressive” solutions like taxing carbon emissions (which has been proven to be highly effective) and lowering the use of fossil fuels.
